Fruit of the Tree
A tree does not ask the farmer what fruit it should produce each season
It just grows
The tree puts all its effort into deep roots and strong branches.
It pushes the water to places that need to grow
It patiently waits for its trunk to touch the sky
And for leaves to fill its limbs
One day it wakes up and there is fruit hanging from its branches.
The tree does not taste the fruit
He must wait for the farmer to tell him if they made a delicious pie or a tasty jam
The tree does not choose to produce its favorite fruit.
It is not disappointed by what appears
The fruit is not for the tree.
It is for the farmer and his family
The tree’s job is to focus on the growing.
