Spring's Arrival
There is beauty in a sunrise
And also beauty in the clouds
Spring comes with new blooms
And just as many rainy days
It comes slowly
Not pushing out winter
But easing in with graciousness
Letting the snow melt with hospitality
Spring is not the enemy of winter
But her companion
Linking arms
Honoring the somber season of rest
While welcoming the season
Of redemption and growth
The frost will thaw
From death comes life
