We are the walking wounded
We wear them like a name tag
We examine them on every side
Alternating numbing the pain
“In this life you will have trouble, but fear not, I have overcome the world.”
This world and the part we play in it is beautiful. Yes, there is brokenness, but I want to look for the beauty of our redemption in it. The Lord has made all things new, even as He is in the process of making us new.
Join me in looking for the beauty in life through thoughts and poems. I am so glad you are here.
We are the walking wounded
We wear them like a name tag
We examine them on every side
Alternating numbing the pain

I wonder if some in the crowd
Worried that the loaves and fishes would be enough
Who am I
To command anything
In the created world
Or the spiritual one?
But it will not nullify the faithfulness of God. We will experience hardship when we choose sin, yet even these consequences will be redeemed to bring God glory in the end. What generosity does God display for us!
Do they not understand
That I know exactly what they need
And won’t make them wait
Any longer than I have to
Now at the late hour, there was not many actual things that I could have done to find a solution. But the constant analysis made me feel as if I was taking steps to find an answer so I kept brainstorming.
A few weeks ago, we were talking through the reality of leadership and submission. Not a popular topic, but a very valuable one.
Home is where you are
Old friends will at times become strangers
As you grow and change
